Sea of Tombstones is set up 6 times per
year, for a total of 20 days
It's a collaborative effort of Viet Nam Vets Against the War,
Veterans For Peace of
South Jersey, and Vets of all eras, who all belong to Delaware
Valley Veterans For America
A Sea of Tombstones, at Philly's
Liberty Bell, memorializes the 3,860 KIA of our War
in Iraq. Our "Cost of War" Display takes up nearly 3 acres
on Fed land between the
Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, & the Constitution Center,
attracting 10's of Thousands of
visitors, from around our Nation, and the world.

Parents adorn the faux Tombstone with flowers, flags, and hand
gaining a modicum of closure. We play "Taps", and keep the
mood solemn and hallowed.
